Lately, more and more of our guests have contacted us asking if we are a pet-friendly accommodation and we are happy to enthusiastically answer yes!
It is no secret that we are animal lovers here at the George Washington Wood Bed and Breakfast. Dogs bring so much joy into our lives and we know that they do the same for our guests. That’s why we embrace it when our guests bring them along for their stay at our home!
If you like to travel light when you travel with your dog, ask us about our Puppy Package – our offering to provide a few sizes of dog beds, a water bowl and some special treats. We can also include dog sitting services, depending upon your needs when visiting us here at George Washington Wood.
We are centrally located to many parks and walking trails, and are right across the street from Mary Wood Park, a public park and playground that extends from Fifth Avenue to Sixth Avenue and Harry Street to Hallowell Street. The park was recently upgraded to include three separate play areas to accommodate children of all ages and abilities. There is also a pavilion for parties, picnics, or just a shady relaxing spot for adults, kids and of course, dogs!

Conshohocken is a very pet friendly town and we encourage you to take your dog along when you explore the town. Dogs can be seen walking their humans any time of day or night!
